Katherine Heigl is attached to star in “One for the Money” for Columbia Pictures and Lakeshore Entertainment.

Col and Lakeshore were eager to reteam on another Heigl project after their recent collaboration, “The Ugly Truth,” earned more than $200 million in worldwide B.O.

“One for the Money” is based on the Janet Evanovich novel of the same name, which spent 75 consecutive weeks on USA Today’s bestseller list. Book, which features protagonist.

Stephanie Plum — an unemployed lingerie buyer who becomes a bounty hunter to make ends meet — has spawned a series of 15 novels, all with titles that have a number theme. A 16th Plum novel hits shelves this summer.

Reese Witherspoon was previously attached to take on the role, but the project has been dormant for several years. Heigl’s interest has put the project back on the fast track, with Andrea Giannetti overseeing for the studio. Col and Lakeshore will next look to attach a director.

Lakeshore’s Tom Rosenberg and Gary Lucchesi are producing “One for the Money” with Wendy Finerman (”The Devil Wears Prada”).

Karen McCullah Lutz and Kirsten Smith penned the screenplay, and Liz Brixius has been brought onboard to do a polish.
In addition to her continuing gig on ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy,” Heigl has upcoming film roles in “Killers” for Lionsgate and “Life as We Know It” for Warner Bros.

Last week on Grey’s Anatomy, Alex (Justin Chambers) and Lexie (Chyler Leigh) got busy, and we finally got a glimpse into Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Arizona’s sex life. If you thought last week’s brief shower scene was hot, there’s more to come, Jessica Capshaw, who plays Arizona, told TVGuide.com.
While Callie is recovering from chicken pox this week, “We see a little girl-on-girl action,” said Capshaw, who added that it was nice to see the build-up of the relationship first before jumping into “salacious” make-out sessions.

Characterizing Callie and Arizona’s relationship as “solid,” Capshaw said: “When they have issues, they communicate. They have fights, but they’re there for one another. Clearly it wouldn’t be a one-hour drama if there wasn’t some conflict around the corner, so I’m sure there will be challenges soon, but right now they’re riding the little wave of being happy.”
Callie and Arizona may be secure, but Alex and Izzie (Katherine Heigl) are about to head down a path of destruction. “Maybe the big D’s going to happen,” Chambers said. The big D, of course, stands for divorce. “I think he’ll always have something in his heart for Izzie. I know that even when they divorce, if they divorce … he loves her very much.”

Alex’s surprising hook-up with Lexie last week probably hindered any chance of a healthy marriage with Izzie, but that doesn’t mean he’s going to start up a relationship with Lexie now. “All these characters have slept together, so he was just rebounding. It was more or less a one night stand. I don’t think there’s going to be a relationship there. He’s still pining for Izzie.”

And if you think Alex will just jump from woman to woman at Seattle Grace, don’t fret: Yang (Sandra Oh) and Grey (Ellen Pompeo) are definitely off-limits. “Those are like my sisters, especially Grey. … That would be a twist if that happened. If the ratings start to slip, maybe they’ll do that,” joked Chambers.

Following Grey’s Anatomy’s holidaylicious all-inclusive Thanksgiving/Christmas/ New Years episode extravaganza, the ABC drama’s staying in the holiday spirit with its first-ever Valentine’s Day episode, which will find Derek and Owen plotting to take their sweethearts out for a double date. Just one problem. “Meredith is not a Valentine’s Day girl, and neither is Cristina,” reminds show creator Shonda Rhimes, “so the guys will try to force them to enjoy the holiday.”

Singling out Callie and Arizona as the only couple celebrating V-Day in a healthy way, Rhimes says Calzona, “go out on a date and exchange gifts at four o’clock because they know they’ll be in the ER in the evening,” then play cupid for Bailey and a smokin’ anesthesiologist named Ben Warren (Jason George), whom Rhimes says will give Bailey “a little bit of lovin’”.

But despite fans’ pleas, there’s still no lovin’ on the horizon for popular new doc, Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams). “I think he’s adorable, but he’s not ready for that,” says Rhimes. “There’s a lovely sense of the audience not knowing where he’s going to land, and I’d like to keep it that way for awhile.”

As for Izzie-less Alex, Rhimes hints he’ll “find his own way to amuse himself quite adequately on Valentine’s Day.” (And by ‘amuse himself’, you should know that another person will be involved.)

Quick to defend Iz, Rhimes explains, “As writers, we’ve had to be creative with having Katie for such a limited time.” Juggling a packed movie schedule and new motherhood, Katie next visits on Jan. 21, but even Rhimes isn’t sure when (or if) she’ll be back full time. “Maternity leave is maternity leave, and it’s a choice I fully support,” maintains Rhimes. “We’re just working on figuring out what that means.” So are we.
